maybe it's because they're sitting on the bench with a sword that's barely visible way on the other side? lol, if i remember correctly, guns dont sit on the bench reading teh sunday paper....but then again, anything could happen ^_^

cheers with the renders though man. good times indeed.

edit: and welcome to the forums. i hope you enjoy your stay biggrin.gif

Now with QUESTION "?" MARKS!

Back to the model, release 'em anyways. Work on lower poly versions later if you wish, but let us people with ATi Radeons and Etc.. get them.

wow love those renders smile.gif and the sabers are awesome wink.gif

i think those pistols should be leaning forward.. I mean they usually dont just sit there on the grip without falling forward... you know what i mean?

The sword would look better if it was on the ground, leaning aggaisnt the bench, that way you can "admire" the detail of the handle with the guns aside of it.

Just my thoughts on the rendering...

And nice sabers tounge.gif

Those lightsabers are cool. Id like one. You said they are high-poly, how much?

about 12,000 tounge.gif . its because the program i used makes things really high poly for some reason, i think i can cut it down though, ill have a go now smile.gif

the renders really lack any sort of...detail. Id like to see some bump mapping and at least a few procedurals on the weapons. Also, the sabers are colored grey, and have no metal look to them at all. Try those things out and they will look much better. OTher than that, great job, i really like the saber FX. (btw what prog)?
Dark_Soul
haha light sabers, great idea biggrin.gif
make them with transparency yes !
g0opy
I made laz0r-zabz0rz once, they suckz0rz tho..
REDDmonkey
i used a prog called cinema 4d, and since i dont know how to mesh or texture, i just added different coloured materials to the different parts of the model. It looks better than when it was just plain white though i think tounge.gif .
