Hi! Me again!
Thought I could send the Concept for a LMG.
(I know it looks ALOT like a Colt XM-177!)





But I'm trying to make it look a bit more futuristic though.
As you can see, there is no magazine yet, thats because I'm having trouble choosing what to use.
Ideas?

maybe you could add some mhm... how do you say... "vent holes" to the barrel...?

i dont really like that straight clip, it makes it look older insted of futuristic in my opinion

hm imo it looks more futuristic because of the "straight form" of the clip. A banana-clip would look bad on this... (that's what imo looks "old")

Well... I put a straight clip into it, made "barrel-holes" and changed/added som minor things.

What'cha think now..?

Hah, accidentily saved the Original picture as .gif, so it got all messed up..
So I had to recolour it, using the palette and change the colours back to the originals...
Took some time, but here it is, the good looking concept..

How about either a Barrel clip or a belt/box feed (think BIIIIG .30 cal MG)

It could also use a plasmatic nanite injector fueled by the microprobes floating in the air, which works by heating it up to... oh, around 10,000,000 degrees and then solidifying the melted nanites in a mold to make the bullet, one which is more dense than even deplete uranium... sorta like the one I have...

ok ive gotten started on it but new video card drivers making max too smooth it feels like the viewport is sliding around EWWW so this might take some time
