Lazy copy paste from the readme.txt;

I made this cause NS uses its own program to make fonts for say/team_say, the piemenu and some other stuff. While this is a really nice little app, it was released by Max in the constellation forum, and thus some people can't find it. In low resolution the default NS text is really big and bold, blocking the player's view when there is many people chatting.

There is two versions included, one is tahoma size 8, and the other is tahoma size 6 bold (added by request, for very low res users)

Ok, I just wondered. I'm not planning to change the font. I rather make new HUDs, maps and various other stuff.

This reminds me of Sven-Coop players who get their wonid/steamids hardcoded into the game and get extra stuff.

Really crap for the rest of the community. We deserve all this stuff too.

live with it. the donation really isn't all that much, and ppl are getting stuff because they have contributed something very tangible and useful to the whole of NS.

for the record i'm not a consty member, although i plan to be (starving student n all)

Sorry to resurect this thread, but i updated the pack to "v2" (wow! ) and added screenshots.

The tahoma size 6 bold version is for very very low resolution users, i find it too small even in 640*480, but some people may still use it, it was added by request.

About the font program itself, just so you know, i resurected the release thread in the constellation forum some time ago, asking nicely if we could distribute it to everyone... But got no "official" answer (yet), so i guess we still can't, sorry

why dont ppl just change res to 1280 x 1024 like me

After going from b5 -> 3.0; I managed to back-up every custom sprite except for the fonts.
