I opened steam as usual, and connect to a NS server, it is working just fine, but then suddenly Microsoft complains about Half-Life Launcher which has encountered a problem and needs to be closed. We are sorry for the inconvenience. I just want to steam! So plz try to help me cos' im dying without NS

Shot in the dark:

Try deleting clientregistry.blob and letting steam rebuild it, fixes some strange problems.

Tried reinstalling NS?(the generic solution to lots of problems of unknown cause )
