The model from AvP2 looks different than that one, both in the skin and the model geometry itself. I really doubt that was a straight conversion.

strait conversion or not it still looks good.....

Now just to figure out how you can get marines to be able to hop in and fire a rocket....

You don't want it to be a straight conversion, because of Fox lawyers.
But it looks excellent.

Seriously though:

1) You didn't make the model, you took someone elses work
2) It's published work protected by copyright
3) Anyone who uses this model will never get official map status because Fox would nail Flayra's buttocks to the wall with an electric nailgun.
4) Even taking it from the game and posting pics here will probably get Fox annoyed if they find out and the last thing we want is for them to claim we are doing anything that even remotely resembles Aliens because they will shut us down faster than you can say "James Cameron, make Aliens 5 with Ripply as a guy cause Sigorny Weaver always had that weird masculine thing going on"...
5) It's generally noted to be uncool to take someone elses work without their permission.

Delarosa : You forget that the dropship is actually intellectual property that goes beyond games. The marine dropship as shown here is the intellectual property of 20th Century Fox as well as Fox Interactive (not to mention the property - in terms of the model - of the company that made AVP2). The end-user license of the game and the terms and conditions of the license obtained when you purchase a copy of the film stipulate that NONE of the artistic elements of the movie and game may be used outside of a Alien vs. Predator environment (for the movie it is simply "Aliens"). Just like the team for NS states that nothing in this game can be used for another project (professional or otherwise) - it would be the same as with work from (both actual and intellectual) a professional project such as AVP2 or the Aliens series.

Sorry dude. You are wrong. And giving credit or not earning money wont convince the legal gurus at Fox... I'm not gonna dob anyone in but I mean just on a principle level it shouldn't be done.

Nice, but it could be given more of an NS feel and look.

BTW, I wouldn't think twice about using a model like that if I wanted it in my own maps . But just don't expect it to go official (should you care).

But trilogy is itself tri=3 and logy(if you just write log that's the binary logarithm by common convetion isn't it? So it's the binary log of y? , This part of the word means something like series/part right?).

monology, bilogy, trilogy, quadrology, pentalogy, hexalogy, heptalogy etc. should be just as valid(tohugh possible misplleed ) or made up depending on your stance on the original word.

The "Friday the 13th" movies should thus be a decalogy if I haven't lost count.

4 alien movies?? I dont think the lastone deserves to exist and as far as i'm concerned it doesn't.
