Full Version: Can Ns Run In Direct3d?

Radeon video cards are notoriously bad at running in OpenGL so I want to run NS in Direct3D. The problem is that switching to Direct3D makes the screen go black and I have to close Half-Life through task manager. The only mod that seems to actually work in D3D is Counter-Strike. The only way I can switch back to OpenGL is if I open up Counter-Strike (steam version of course) and change the video to be OpenGL.

Is there some bug with Half-Life that makes it unable to use Direct3D or something?

D3D should work fine. And radeon cards should work fine with OpenGL too. Update your drivers and try again.

I got the drivers yesterday.
