I still have my original Half-Life CD key but when I enter it into steam it says its unable to register my cd key, says its either invalid or already matchs one used in database.


But ive never hadp roblems like this before and ive played CS for like 3 years. I also used to play Natural Selection before Steam was around. Wth?

I finally got into steam forums and read some info, but I dont think ive ever registered with steam because I played before it came out. I tried using reset password on all of my old email addresses and it says account not found. Wth?

If you used Steam while in it's beta stages, you have registered your key.
If not, well, someone may have registered it for you :/
