Okay when I am playing NS, walking along as a skulk, then I am running across map diagonally strafing and jumping, but I press crouch, and, my comp beeps?! I can only have like 3-4 keys pressed at once and any after that are not registered, which severly hinders me. I am on windows xp, using a dell keyboard, plugged into the keyboard input that ISN'T USB slot. (can't think of the name of it for the life of me ATM) Is there any solution to this to allow me to hold more keys at once? am I screwed to a beeping computer of doom? Thanks in advance.
Oh yea, I can post my specs if they are needed for this, but I do not want to until I know there is not any "simple" solution

I think your keyboard's just a low quality one.
My cordless logitech keyboard has the same problem.
Pity they can't at least keep -some- quality in their Logitech products.

Nowdays keyboards that detect more than, let's say, four keys at a time are useless, at least so the companies think

. Playing games with three or four people on one keyboard just isn't possible nowdays

This has been a constant problem with BOTH my keyboards, leading me to believe that the HL engine was not designed to take more than 4 inputs from the keyboard (seeming as I can use more than 4 keys in any other app)
I.E.:
I might try to press:
w - forward
+
d - strafe right
+
alt - lastinv
+
shift - duck
at the same time to bunny hop and switch weapons at teh same time, and somthing will not happen depending on which I press first... very very annoying.
