Nah i think it would be a better replacement for gl nade.. your gl just shoots out pens!!

Knife- Pen
Pistol- little pin thingys

I think I'll use it too, if the animations are funny enough.

I like the idea of the marine sticking the pen in his nose. Or sniffing it. Or juggling it. Or writing a lettre to his mommy. Oh the possibilities...

Oh and is there anyway we could have an animation for the marine models of sticking pens in various holes? That would be uber classic!

arright im takin a whack at animating right now, and im tryin to do the pen sniff thing for the flourish. ive got the animation down, but i would like to know how to put a sound in, could someone help me with that?

Why not make him spin the pen through his fingers as an idle animation. Probably really hard to do well, but is that what everyone does with a pen when they're bored?

Or maybe he could bring out a checklist of things to do and tick them off:
