I have been aware that ns requires the nshulls.txt for it's maps but I have no idea what to do with it. I am a long time TFC mapper so I do know something on how to make maps but importing text files is completely new to me. I have searched the mapping guidelines and this entire forum but can't seem to find any information on this subject. Can someone please help me?

Please, in future can you check the
Mapping Forum FAQ before posting as it's
quite clearly covered there.
Also, simple questions like this should be confined to the
Mapping Help and Troubleshooting forum.

First of all, my appologies for posting in the wrong board. Please excuse my newbie-isum on NS mapping as for this is my first map for NS and it's very confusing to me. This is completely different from TFC mapping.
esuna, I did clearly read everything in that faq/tutorial but as you can see, it didn't explain clearly enough as to "where" to add the command. I would be using HLCC 1.4 to compile and Worldcraft 3.3 for building.

Why do I get stuck in my map when I evolve to Onos? You need to add the NS hull file to your CSG inputs. It contains custom size information for the third clipping hull that the Onos player uses. The file is named "nshulls.txt" and is found in the ns directory of your client install. To add the command at the command line or inside the Hammer edit dialogs, use "-hullfile <path_to_ns_directory>/ns/nshulls.txt". |
Caboose: Thanks but I don't know where to enter these csg paramaters for HLCC. As far as I can tell, HLCC doesn't allow for additional csg paramaters other then those preset check boxes or whatever you call them.

Use the search option.
