[ (poot) ] anyways....im looking for a comm chair, currently im using the one with the bald dude sitting in hte open U shaped thing pushing buttons an such, but it doesnt seem to fit, casue when aliens are eating it he just sits there, so im wondering if there are any other CC's out there. or other marine buildings. cause i can find a weapon easily but not buildings. there should be more buildings. ok peace.

This site has nearly all the models ever released for NS, including Dillinja's various Spec-Ops buildings, which are amazing. This site should be your first stop when looking for a model. Enjoy .

i've been saving every half-decent model since i joined the boards (a year and some change) and i even RUN T2K, and i've got roughly 4 times the amount of models on my hard drive, compaired to the amount on the both sites combined.

Chill out, Dillinja & BigBull. Del wasn't trying to one-up anyone, he was simply stating an observation - as he said - about BOTH sites, and certainly not claiming that either was better than the other.

To the topic starter:
There aren't a lot of Comm chair replacements that I'm aware of, but NS Armslab and Thrill2Kill, the two major custom model sites, are a good place to start. Also, running a search of this forum for "comm chair" will probably turn up a few results - even if a link is dead, try PMing the creator if you're interested in his model.

I am not flaming anyone, NSArmsLab nor T2k, though this is my opinion. I think the problem is both NSA and T2k advertise like a business. Instead of just providing good hosting (which they do) it seems like they both are paranoid of competition. Whenever I go to the NSA site, or see someone post 'NSA Mirror', I feel like someone is trying to sell me something. It's the catch phrases and the way things are worded. Also, the 'T2k Exclusive' thing feels too competetive. I think any custom site should be able to host a file so it's easily available and there are plenty of mirrors.

Domo you can try deleting your current CC model, join a server and it'll download the old original model.

I'm thinking of working on a comm chair model just for some fun but i know that there was one open "cockpit" model that was release (wasn't it?). I'm prettys ure that the others are just reskinns and the original with added monitors to them.

one with black/red found in the ramms+ein conversion....

and one with a funky lil flagy thing found somewhere (i am unable to find it on my hard drive, but i know it's there)

just checked... NrvsYet NS Total Conversion Pack v1.0 has a model hack... similar to the one bigbull posted, but it's the original CC, same size and all... just like, different.
