How can I load NS up through steam in off line mode?

the reason is that I dont have a internet connection in my flat (university halls) and I wanted to begin mapping again after about 6 months, Its just even when steam is running on off line mode NS still wont load. Says something about game not being ready yet

I dont want to compile a map then walk 15mins to the uni building to test it then have to come all the way back cause there is a leak or something. Worldcraft works fine when compiling the map its just steam thats being a b

You need to have HL fully downloaded, check the amount acquired on its propierties.

Don't forget to use the Mapping Help & Troubleshooting forum for the setup guide to compile with steam. Oh and "My Sexy Map" is on hold while I do school and a combat map

The latest update for steam suports offline mode, so all your problems should av been resolved along with that release.
