heya guys,

Just wondering is there a way for admins to actually get their icon WITHOUT using adminmod or any other third party plugins. Ive actually seen some people acheiving this (the server has no mods whatsoever) but when i used mp_serverops "xxxx" and mp_uplink 1 nothing seems to happen.. even after mapchange and whatnot (it used to come on in 2.0 during mapcycles). Any solutions?

I get it in the first map in the server. After map change, I get my Constellation icon again, and all my admins lose their ServerOp icon.

I think it's bugged. I cannot get serverop icons to reliably show up unless I use a third party plugin. I do remember joev saying somewhere in a thread that there is new code coming in the future for icons and should hopefully fix up bugs like these I think?

eyeah ! mods and plugins normally have detrimental effects on servers.. be it higher cpu usage and whatnot... hopefully its fixed in the next beta patch !
