Ok i have a level over level present in my co map. but i want players on the top level to be able to see through the grateing floor i put on it. what do i have to do. there is blue in the texture and i thought it would dissapear but it doesent.

Oh oh i know this!
Make it an entity, probably a func_wall but if you want to be able to shoot through the grating a func_illusionary with a clip brush over it (a clip brush = brush covered in the "clip" texture, it blocks player movements and will stop you from just falling through the brush but you can still shoot through it).
Render mode solid, fx amount 255.
