NS 3.0 Beta 3 dedicated server running on a Win2K Pro SP4 machine. For whatever reason, any SteamID's listed in the banned.cfg file are being deleted or the file itself is being deleted. Anyone else having this problem?

dumb question bug do you have "exec banned.cfg" in your server.cfg?
I built a server some time back and forgot that... Took me a while to figure it out.

are you using "writeid" after you set the bans?

Any idea when this is happening?
Like, right after you set a ban, does the banned.cfg have a ban in it? If it does, when does the ban disappear? On a server crash or restart?
Also, another silly question, but your banned.cfg isn't read-only is it?

None at all.

Yes the ban shows. Not sure when it disappears. I connected to the server via VNC and manually restarted it (restart in console) and even shut it down and restarted it again. The bans were still there.

No, it's not read-only.

I had this problem. I use adminmod, and when one of my admins banned someone it seemed to erase all others and just write the new one. Inserting these two lines into my adminmod.cfg fixed it.
writeid
exec banned.cfg
