I Have tried to get the metamod working on my NS server so I could run AMX. At the moment, I am just trying to get metamod to even start and having no luck at it. I have went through some of the forums and found different version of metamod to try but none worked. Can anyone help an old lady get metamod working on her server for people to enjoy???

Well... now another issue came up. Metmod does say it is working and running BUT it can't see AMX nor Admin Mod when I tried to get them to fire up. I have both versions and both work on my DoD servers but not on NS. Is there a different version of AMX or Admin Mod for NS? I prefer AMX but will take either.

Now, I have disabled LogMod also and still a no go with AMX. On HLSW I am getting this as the Addons:

Addon(s): AMX v, MetaMod v1.17X2

Normally it would actually show AMX v0.9.7 or summin along those like. Also, keep in mind that this is the same AMX I run with no issues on my DoD servers. I have removed all CS stat .so files also.

Bah. Wasn't version of anything. A line in liblist.gam wasn't disabled and I had a new copy of LogMod. Disabled a line in the liblist.gam:

// gamedll_linux "dlls/ns_i386.so"

And reverted back to the old version of LogMod and all is good.

I recommend using this version of AMX configured specifically for NS3.

What version of logmod are you using now? I haven't been able to get any of the steam versions of it to work.

[EDIT] nm I found a new logmod released yesterday that works.

Definitely use the AMX version CheesyPeteza linked. It's perfect for the job.

I get the following error:

[AMX] Couldn't find "AMX_Query" (file "nsp/addons/amx/dlls/mm_ns2amx_i386.so")
[AMX] Make sure that modules are compatible with AMX 0.9.7
[AMX] Please fix the problem then start the server again
