Full Version: Hlds On Debian With Adminmod/metamod

Briefly:

If you try to run Adminmod out-of-the-box on a fresh Woody install, you will most likely encounter segfaults, as the latest version is linked against glibc v2.3, and Woody comes with v2.2x.

So, you can
1. Upgrade to Sarge
2. Apt-Pin to pull back updated packages from Sarge
3. Re-compile against glibc 2.2x

There are problems specific to the way Debian handles things, but I'm too lazy to write up the procedures.

Gosh.

I run HLDS/NS on 1/2 a dozen debian boxen and have never encountered a 'debian specific' problem...
