what is the official rules for a clanwar in ns?

by clanwar im assuming you mean "scrim" or "match" (2 clans face off).

setup is:
6vs6
2 halves, each team plays each side once
mp_tournamentmode 1 (enables pre-match and friendly fire)
no spectators
winner of each round is determined by who ends the game (killing all hives/ips and all players of the opposing team)

a win is 2-0 final round scored, a tie is 1-1




mostly we just use the cal config file.


with tournymode on, there is a prematch time. it is usually used to go over strats. the game will not begin untill both teams type "ready" in mm1.

we call them scrims.

we call em "pcw" normally, or "pcv" when we want to mock the continent europeans.
