i am in progress of writing a story i am gonna call LaerkaTos - The Lerk Moon. LaerkaTos is a forbiddon moon off the planet of Larkat in the OhHivMin Solar System, approximately 30 light years from our own. of course using PhasePlanetPort technology this distance can be achieved in about 6 - 7 seconds, however PPP technology can (at the most) only send a single TSA Marine with a Skoutor5 craft (like a hoverbike, only capable of travelling at Warp 7 (7 light years per hour, meaning it can travel the distance that takes light 7 years to travel in one hour)), and even then it is dangerous. even more experimental is the PPPWNPP or PhasePlanetPort With No Phase Portal, where as the destination has no phase portal, but the start point does. PPPWNPP is VERY accurate, however reports have come in where half a person is inside a spaceship and the other bit is outside it! this is because PPPWNPP's 'depth perception' is a little inaccurate. here is a sneak preview inside LaerkaTos - The Lerk Moon:

"HOLY COW!" shouted the marine "THAT HAS GOT TO BE THE GREENEST PLANET I HAVE EVER SEEN!"
"Yup - thats LaerkaTos - The Lerk Moon. covered in forest. lerk heaven. we gotta bust in there, and get one of the MikaHives outta there for examining, then send it by PPP, straight to earth. priority? get it at all costs. even if we are destroyed just a few seconds after we send the MikaHive, we will have succeded. lets do this ****" replied the Commander over radio/loudspeaker.

*they landed the StarSpike5 on LaerkaTos, put all power to shields and sentries, waited 15 minutes while the surrounding lerks were pulverised by plasma pulse balls and exited the ship, LMGs, HMGs, Shotties and GLs loaded, and the commando with a white line cannon, idling, ready to shoot at a picosecond's notice. it emmited a light humming, hardly heard.*
