it keeps me on the loading screen with the 2 marines and a minuite later it goes to the server screen and it says it cant complete connection... any help?

Hey, a freind told me about NS and i downloaded it, looks cool untill i try to join a server it keeps me on the loading screen with the 2 marines and a minuite later it goes to the server screen and it says it cant complete connection... any help?

Try connecting using the console.... I have to do that. 
Its a pain because I can't look for new (and maybe better) servers.

Have you updated your half life to v1.1.1.0?
Try Using ASE or Gamespy to browse for Servers if the ingame browser doesnt work.
Also, have u used the correct shortcut n not the one on the desktop that NS installer makes?
