I just saw this on a server recently and laughed my **obscenity** off.
Basically, when the game started, one person went gorge and built three movement chambers. Then the rest of the team went gorge (except one) and upgraded to adenaline. Then all 8 gorges and one skulk stormed the marine base spamming health spray everywhere. The combined cloud of health spray healed the gorges and killed the marines very quickly. The skulk finished off the respawn points.
A good little tactic if you have a coordinated team. It'll certainly drop some jaws.

Hehe, nice one gorges are possibly THE most underused assult class, I wonder what a mass level 2 gorge rush would do.. I suppose turrets would screw you up ?

how can u build movement chambers at start? u need 2 hives to build movement chambers...
In a traditional match that's true, but only because building anything but a Defense chamber with the first hive slot is fantastically stupid (unless you have something preplanned up your sleeve, like this gorge rush).
Many people seem to be misinformed about how building chambers work. You get 1 chamber type per hive, and it can be anything the gorge chooses. Almost always you will want to go Defense for the first hive, then movement at the second, and finally sensory for third. However there is nothing to stop you from using a different order, except perhaps your teams complaints ;p

They easily took out all of us out. Whoever we tell the story to, they say we weren't playing the right way.. BS. they've never been in that situation
. We got them the second time, when they rushed our base, but we knew this would happend so we used shotguns.
they were also bunny-hopping.. Bunnyhop + gorge rush = dangerous for marines.
also it seems like all of the clan members seem to just rush. that's like the ONLY tactics.. i'll hate it when the CAL tournaments get up.. if everybody is just going to rush at the beginning, that will be no fun at all, since the aliens usually end up losing.
