I've noticed that a lot of people in these forums have a love for the AVP models, as do I. So I was thinking that with the help of conversion, model, and sprite 'artists' we could pull this off in a rather quick way.

Current progress: M4A1 Pulse Rifle, M56 Smart Gun, Ape Suit and Marine Armor.

What we need: Converted grenade launcher from AVP2 (would work, since NS's has 6rounds as well), maybe pistol, maybe knife. And sprites to go along with the models. So what do you guys think?

The pulse rifle needs to be the grenade launcher. (I'd rather have a movie conversion than a game conversion)

the pulse rifle should be the lmg, the colonial marines have seperate grenade launchers available as well (by books, among other resources).

I'd rather go by the movie seeing as I have not read any books on Aliens.

From the movie standpoint, I would rather have the grenade launcher be the pulse rifle. (the grenadelauncher would be the only functioning part)

I am sure we could do that, heck I'd love to see both. But I would use the rotational grenade launcher personally.

What we really need are some alien v models...
just doesn't feel right when my mouth says Kharaa, but my buddies say Alien.
