Not sure where to post this, but I was wondering:
Am I the only one seeing every single marine model in the game appear with a jetpack? Since I began playing NS a while back, I've been using some nice soldier models you lads have put together. Now, for some inexplicable reason, any model I use has a jetpack on him. Night-ops, black reskin, uscm... they all spawn with a bulky jetpack on their back. Of course, they can't use the thing unless the commander really gives them one in game, but that should be obvious.
Is this happening to anyone else? Is there some easy way to fix this? Where did it all go wrong?

You should try to reinstall.
If that doesn't work, try another server (if you havn't done so already)
otherwise... i wouldn't know...

the sub-models need to be setup correctly, or youll get either jetpacks all the time, or no jetpacks at all

There is a short and painless resolution:
add this line to your autoexec.cfg or your config.cfg:| CODE |
cl_himodels "0.000000"

Fantastic!
Works like a charm. No more jetbacks weighing down my poor marines.
Thanks!

One of my friends had the gestate model bug out so when you evolved it showed up as a crouching marine with a jetpack.

no. it's that you set cl_himodels to 1 while it's supposed to be 0, happens with every mod, in cs if u have himodels on it shows the bomb or defuse kit on everyone.
