Or at least for the fade, as for every attack it uses the same animation. it'd be neat to see something like its shoulder going back as a recoil thing when it fires acid/bile, for example.

The fade is pretty much the best HL model I've seen, but I'd love to see more than just that swipe attack happening.

I believe there are many animations in the models, but for some reason they dont work in-game. I think this is supposed to be fixe in the next client update.

The animations are there (except for fade), they just aren't implemented yet. Even the skulk has a little jaw-swinging animation for bite, though it does look really weak, both in strength and in the animation for it.

because of the animation blending in HL, were really limited as to melee attacks for the 4 legged creatures. without getting technical, were limited to the neck up, which if your counting along, is 2 bones, head and mouth. not a whole lot that can be done with them unfortunately sad.gif
