is it just me, or is this a truly amazing weapon?

today i joined a game in the final stages (marines on the run, 3 hives up, etc.) and thought "what the heck. ive always wanted to use those kookie babblers"

being accompanied by a Lerk( for umbra), i waddled my wide load over to their base and (w/ level 3 adren) i unleashed wave after wave of exploding, "mindless", mini-skulks. and man oh man, did they wreak havok! kills and building desctruction left and right!

who else has had a positive babbler-related experience?

I kinda don't get how they work... as far as I can see, they rush the nearest marine or structure (in a straight line) and attack it til it's dead or they are.

So do you need them to do anything else? Babblers are zombies as far as we are concerned. point them in the direction you want them to attack and that's it. if they survive for 15 seconds they do a mini xenocide.

Building up some def at a nozzle, and a HA HMG marine walks in shooting..

One gorge vs one marine.

No contest.

Marine walks into the web, and I just kept him webbed while creating babblers. Good thing I had adren. A babbler, two shots of web, another babbler, et, etc.

mix em up with real skulks and the real ones do Uber damage compared to loneing it.

Last Thursday, Webbing + Babblers gave me double kills. That made my days.
