Mine involved the glass-corridor and the lift on ns_hera. I was Fade, as per usual (I just prefer them, even when Onos are available. They just feel better...) and I was acutely aware that the massive outpost we'd made at reception (before I'd changed from gorge) had come under fire from siege cannons. Half of all the chambers were removed, and it seemed that the other half were just out of the siege range...
While the rest of the team set about trying to locate the siege, I walked over to the lift grille and looked below, only to see a factory blueprint materialise out of thin air and a standard marine run to construct it. I splatted the marine with an acid rocket and then proceeded to destroy the factory with the aid of another Fade.
He too ran off to aid in taking out what remained of the siege outpost and I suggested that I just stay there and take on any marines...
I got five kills- from my 7/7 gorge score- just by clawing the unaware round that corner. Yay!
Cloaking... is... just... fun. Nevermind tactical usage, it's just so great! Cloaking finnaly being used against real-life players. I can't stress how fun it can be- the paranoia it causes. Marines firing wildly into shadow, only for you to pop in behind them and tear them up. Full cloaking means total invisibility- and that means marines will happily walk past, leaving you to follow (with silence) or rush in and kill them.
Admittedly I slashed a HA twice and he turned round and splattered me with his HMG, but it just goes to show you should never get too overconfident...
