My friend and I are getting back into NS, but we're a bit frustrated by some graphic bugs we're having. We have different graphics cards that aren't even from the same company, as I have Nvidia and he has ATI, so that's probably not the cause of the bug. We do, however, both run 64-bit XP, so maybe that's the culprit.

The bug we get is that a lot of flat images don't seem to be appearing. What I mean by that is that we can't see the progress bar on how close you are to completion when you're an egg and, more importantly, all the buttons on the commander UI are completely black, making playing commander impossible.

Is there any known workaround for this?

Why do you let folks down Thansal?
Do you feed on their frustration or do you just enjoy seeing them suffer.
Poor folks!

Anyway: Its "cl_gammaramp 0".
