I get like 7 minutes in to a game, then the screen fades and the game stops. I then have to ctrl alt delete and shut down HL1. I have no idea why this happens, help please.

What do you mean by "the screen fades"?

Does this happen in other Half Life 1 mods? Have you tried reinstalling NS to see if that fixes anything?

does it happen when you blink or leap? ati card?

I had the exact same problem.. its something to do with loading sprites.. are you using any sort of custom sprites ? my issue was sprites for the scoreboard.

reinstall is all i can offer.

Try clearing all your folders dealing with NS (and I mean all of them) and them do a clean NS Install becuase maybe somthing you downloaded affected NS. And maybe reconfigure your movement key somtimes thats a a problem.
