Hey guys,

I like to play with no sound and listen to music while playng but i dont figure out how to shut down the background sounds...
so they are pretty much going on my nervs so i hope you guys can help me figure out how to shut em down

Regarding to your problem stated, if u wish to play w/o any sound, u can off all the sounds from the option menu when u start ns at the start-up menu. But my suggestion to you is NOT to off the sound and instead on it louder. Reason is because natural selection is a game that really need sounds so that you can really fully enjoy the game to the fullest. I have my say n hope my suggestion works=)

nope doesnt work(same as volume 0) its the ambience sounds wich are going on my nervus while listening to music... and i know ns acctually needs sound but its boring for me because aliens/marines dont have any chance then anymore...

basically (If I remember this correctly), with out completely shutting off the sound in NS, you can't kill ambiance in the game.

You can create blank files for each of the ambiance files and that will remove the sound, but I honestly don't remember if those files are checked under consistency or not.
