So i start my computer like I always do. I then go for Steam and start to play a NS game. After a while i've either won or lost the match and then i'm about to start the second match, maybe i'll see I can beat the person who beated me pretty easy a on the last game a few minutes ago. So I join as a alien and suddendnyl, after 5 minutes or something...my movement freezes for 1 second. This happends every 20 second. My speed have also increased, i move a little faster. Maybe that's how the enemies can't see i'm freezing? Help me with this please .

This happened once i downloaded tons of things, and played tons of video games one day. And then I joined NS. Apperntly it laggs so extremly much that it looks like i got speed hacks. And i end the clipp of my gun in 80% less time. You then understand that the sound increases as well, in other words, it looked like i had speed hacks and speed-shoorting. Oh, yes, it was fun to try it out, untill i started getting banned!!
Notice that this only happened twice. So I'm asuming it's related to the freezing every 20 second thing because it does that as well but must faster and more regulare.

I really want to make this go away, because I don't want to restart my computer after every match.

PS: My friend plays on the other computer in the next room. It's on the same internet. But he does'nt experince this at all!!

Some system details might help. Have you ran any virus/spyware scanners ect. Which operating system? What kind of hardware? Any similar issues on other games?

Yes, i've ran virys/spyware scanners.

On all other games it works except steam games.

On CS I shoot 10 AWP bullets like a normal pistol. If i shoot with Scroll then all the bullets ends pretty fast.
On CS i shoot all the bullets (on those weapons where you can hold the shoot button) in 0.0000001 seconds. With the huge machinegun with 150 bullets, it looks like i'm ending all of the clips, but it's the bullets get fewer slower then it should do. So it looks like I shoot EXTREMLY FAST and that i got MILLIONS of bullets. People go like 'What the hell was that?!...'.
It looks like i got speed hack too, i warp, EXTREMLY FAST, i mean WOW. It's not controllable, this is with Half life 1 too. In singelplayer on Halfe life 1, EVERYTHING goes fast. The NPC move around as if they were on speedcrack or something. The train at the beginning of hl1....you reach the end within seconds. The only way i can move around is to walk around holding CTRL and Shift in cs.
But I want this fixed, I don't want to play like this.

But I should try to reinstall steam, hl1, ns and everything. I'm supriced I have'nt done it before.

Due to the nature of speedhacks for gldscr engine games I would suggest to try out different versions of your sound driver and see if that fixes it.
After making sure that your broter/sister/dog hasnt installed an actual speedhack ofc.

I'v been having the same problem ever since i got my new super fast awesome computer, seems it was so awesome and fast that NS was playing faster than everyone else on the sever like i had Natural speedhacks.


no worries, just task switch and set hl.exe affinity to 1 CORE, also set the proioty to low.
