The green light has been given to use an empty house for another House of Awesome LAN.

Location (4th dimension) / When:
Early December, 2007 -- Aiming for Dec. 14th so all those in school are on break.

That's about 20 minutes from Beaumont, TX and about 1.5 - 2 hours from Houston, TX.


How many people:
Last time we had ~20 people and about 15 computers. Three rooms were completely unused.


Internet:
The house has no internet, but we have a crack-team of Haxors with routers with custom firmware and aircrack. Last year we had plenty of internet!


What is it like:
Big empty two-story house, no furniture and few breakables. Three rooms upstairs for sleeping/playing, 2 bathrooms, 1 bedroom downstairs for sleeping, and 3 rooms downstairs of playing, including a very large living room with disco lights and a bar.

Tables and chairs are collected from various sources. All the utilities are on so there are showers and a working ktichen. The weather here is usually a little cold in December so if it gets hot just open a window.

Usually someone brings the Xbox 360 and I bring a modded PS2 and a TV. This year I plan on hooking up an old computer to the TV and connect it to the HLTV of the server so people not playing can watch the round if they want.

If everyone chips in we have an excellent cook on hand, a functioning kitchen and my discerning tastes for fruit selection. Fruit, btw, is way better than anything else for staying awake, full of energy and pwnage.

Oh and we mostly play NS. Last year we only played NS.

We'll try and get everything setup a week in advance. Hopefully this year we'll have power and network already ready-to-go at the tables so you just drop down and plug in.


Cost:
Try and bring ~5$. If you don't have 5$, try and borrow it from your Mom. If you don't have a Mom, I'm sorry. Could you ask your dad then? Money goes towards making my GF happy for letting me borrow her nice house, food and utility bills. The more money the more food.


How to Join
Firstly, if you're thinking of coming, cool. You can stay at the house. Bring some blankets and pillows. PM me for intimate details like my phone number and what I'm wearing.


Rules:
While the house is Awesome, it can only stay awesome if it stays completely clean. No shoes on carpet, don't break stuff, no food on carpet, no drinky unless 21 and you can handle yourself, etc... Standard maturity stuff.


Also, bring a computer. Cheaters will be executed (this includes white wallers).
