i seem to be collecting quite a few ideas for complex and simple low-poly corridors, so i was thinking:  if anyone is having difficulty with a hallway, feel free to send me an rmf of the entrance and exit of the hall (or just one of them) and maybe a couple of screens of other areas nearby and i could build you a hallway...

just a thought tho...

if you want to take me up on my offer, my email is terawatt-99@shaw.ca :)

Hey, now that's a nice way to help out.

I just hope you're prepared for the possibility of many responses and requests. ;)

hmm why can I just see that terra's mailbox will be full all the time, but it still is a nice proposal, and it may come in handy for my ns_collage :)
Terawatt_99
here's a couple of pics of a hallway i'm working on right now:

nice, is that black wall becuase of viewing distance though?
Terawatt_99
no, it's just because i'm too lazy to make a full hallway, i've only made a small section, and i just used black blocks to cap the ends so that it would compile ;) :p

Purdy.
Nice how the red lights, floor, and wall textures all meet up perfectly :)

The lights behind the grates just don't seem to fit

Where does the blue/green lighting come from on the top level? i cant see any sources, but i love the design.
Black_Wolf
erm, i dont see any blue/green lighting on the top level . . .
Terawatt_99
heh, sorry, i just realised that the pics i posted don't show the lights in the upper part, there are little lights under the grates that cover the crossings between the two sides of the upper part :)

I don't suppose you'd do a set of prefab hallway sections Terawatt_99?  It would be nice to have quality, standard, hallways to help newbies put together NS maps.  Just an idea...
Terawatt_99
that's actually a pretty cool idea, now all i need is some knowledge in the general area of web design, or aat least access to the good computers at my school (which won't be hard...)
