I don't know if it's possible but:
Is there a plug-in that automatically "UNmute" the commander for all the field marines ? Sometimes i feel the field marines don't get the point because they just don't hear me. Talking is faster than setting WP especially with lag or performance problems on the server. Making sure everybody hear the commander can help.

They hear you. They just don't care.

If the commander is muted, you know you are doomed. The only way the commander gets muted is if players explicitly mute him for whatever reason (hlss spamming or raging or what have you). If that is happening, then gg, you already lost.

Personally if I am not getting a lot of responses from people especially over the mic and no one seems to do what I am saying I start typing asking if anyone can hear me. I do get some responses that way and it lets me know they hear me but just don't feel like doing anything. Once I can establish that i will continue giving orders but when we lose, which is usually the case as they are not listening, I know I have done what I can.

Typing takes so much longer than speaking... and if you try to do it fast enough to actually help instead of being too late..you get many spelling errors and the message is lost or it ends up being too late anyways.
