Oh man... When i change da game to NS,da game close to da desktop and i want to play it

Any hacks running in the background/gamma programs check all your drivers

I'm sure this is due to hacks running in the background.

CTD is not likely b/c of 'hacks', unless you are referring to malware.

Post system specs.

make sure drivers are up to date.

Do a system scan (virus/adware/spyware).

Do other Steam games work?
Do other HL based mods work?
Does HL work?
What do you mean 'change the game to NS'?
Has this always happened?
is it a new occurrence?

Do you have another computer somewhere (at a friends' house for example) that you can try it on, to make sure you're doing the install correctly?

and then get an error message?

or do you switch to NS via steam and then just get a CTD?

if you are starting NS from a different location and and get that error message then you probably have it installed in the wrong place.

man i need say something.............. i dont have steam .... my are a CS 1.6 whit non-steam whit my mods and HL

um, grab a legal copy of HL, install steam, and run everything that way.

NS needs a steam install of Half-Life 1 to work properly. If you can't afford that then I'm afraid you can't play NS.
