I think Gorges should push E on a Marine res node. A bile Det pack should spawn, take X amount of time to be placed, hum time should be equal to the time it takes a elec node to zap the gorge to death with out third hive or carapace/regen. In which case if its a elec node it should require ether two gorges *one healing or DC's / third hive. in which case if the gorge gets interupted, killed or has to stop and say heal a fello alien his bile det pack timer resets and he has to start palcement all over again. Once placed the muccus bomb begins fireing off bile bomb exsplsions, which raipidly kill the res node, the time it takes to kill a node should be no faster than a non adrenalined none mc'ed gorge bile bombing, at which points the only way for rines to remove said device is via a incindary device like a gl grenade or a hand grenade exsplosion with in the radius, like takeing out web, prahaps welder also.

The momment the gorge first clicks E, the Marines are informed node under attack until ether its intrupted or the node is taken out. Also being a sort of DoT effect, rines will be required to keep their nades handy for res node cleansing even if the gorge is their or isnt. The bile exsplsion on the node could also effect rine armor if they are silly enough to go near it note the weld removeal.

The whole effect over time is. If your rine team Is silly enough, not fast enough, not paying attention and so on. Why shouldnt a gorge beable to take out your res node, with out fear of being zaped to death, or with out haveing the feeling of watching paint dry.

Bilebombing a node requires a gorge to sit and stare at an inanimate object for long periods of time.

This idea allows the gorge to play his "field medic" class, while dealing with marine RTs, it also improves the life of skulks because they can focus on ambushing rather than staring at inanimate objects.

To say nothing of the extremely-common 1-hive-gorge situations.

Add a res cost (2 res?); make it only do 1/3 damage to the RT each time, or whatever, but not full damage; keep the fairly long 'attaching' time etc, and it could be pretty fun.

Aye thats why the adrenaline gorge at hive two if they have mc's is the obivious faster choice. How ever while he's bile bombing hes cant build, heal and watch his back.

Say he dies, there's still a chance the RT will get taken out, Sweet justice for the res spent.

I mean think about it a rine takes down a res node, loading rounds into it, stabing it, the amount of sulks that come to stop him and he kills em all, a sulk takes down a rine res node, a single rine comes, the sulk is pinned behind the node cant do ######. all he can do is keep chomping till hes flanked, a second rine comes and there is nothing he can do, say two sulks at the node chomping rines come, two sulks cant fit and hide behind a node and with the new hit boxes one is lucky to with a dead eye rine.

I dont know prahaps it should consume all gorges energy so if he does get intrupted hes ni energy less to do anything anyways. a res cost defeats the perpose of it, build a oc and come back five minutes latter.

I am sure some mod enthusiastic person can modify the amx spore mine code just a tad and give us a shot with this, if I was a coder monkey I would have a crack at it.
