Exactly as the title states. Higher lifeforms generally get more kills, especially late game in comparison to skulks. This makes their res pools swell at a higher rate. If they were allowed to go gorge for the normal ten res, drop all the structures they want, then go back to their previous higher-lifeform for no cost, placing structures would not be such a hassle late game when some players are dedicated fades, lerks or onos.

I think that could be too powerful and that the game would have to be changed for something like this.

I don't like it.

When you have 100 res, your res overflows to other gorges anyway
and if those gorges suck and waste your overflow in ocs then just go gorge yourself, drop stuff and evolve back.

Your suggestion changes/effects too much at once, but the mentioned problem only applies to bad public teams, so imho it's not worth the effort.

I'd prefer some of my own ideas on resflow way more then this one.
its not balanced even slightest to pull off what you are asking.

It could be very good gameplay if implemented thoughtfully, but I'm not convinced it belongs in NS.

Its another step closer to the elimination of the gorge class. So no.

I would say this is sort of like an idea i once had, and that is: when de-evolving to a lower life-form, you should get res back for the loss to the life-form, so from Onos to gorge you would gain 65 res, however if you die you don't gain it back. But thinking about it now, I think this would be worse in balance that that.

Marineds can't recycle Heavy Armor or Jetpacks either...not even for half cost. This really isn't needed. If you have 100 res as a Fade, your team is probably kicking butt and taking names already.

YES YES YES... Wait, there is the esact same topic already in the Ideas for furture thread. I also know of sevral other threads sugesting near to exsackly this, in fact I have even suggested one, but was informed to post my additional thoughts in here.

My thread was once you upgrade onos you got full run of the evolution chain for purely the cost of gastation time. Unless you die in which case you must save up again. Yes my suggestion also included if I go fade its only 15 more res to onos.

If you had onos go gorge to drop chambers, die tough cookies.
