Fresh install of WinXP, new mobo, video card, and RAM sticks, and no errors in the event log. Upon exit from NS I get a BSOD with the following,

QUOTE
BAD_POOL_CALLER STOP: 0x000000c2
(0x00000007, 0x00000cd4, 0x024c004c, 0x88A376A8 (or 0x89444E8)

I saw other people claiming it's something with bad pheripheral drivers

I have run the verifier and it seems the drivers are ok. I'm not to certain though.

Some p4 models can produce this error cause of false handling.

It might be worth a try to deactivate hyper-threading (bios option).

ANother thing i would do is deactivate all omboard-ports you dont need, like LPT and COM ports. (This should also be done through the bios)

So it comes down to:
Deactivate every device you dont need.
Deactivate advanced CPU options you dont need.
If the problem dissapears start reactivating and once it appears again you got the culprit.

All righty, I can give that a shot tomorrow.

Ever since the latest version came out, NS locks up without fail when I exit from it. But if I alt+tab it and then end it through Task Manager its totaly fine. Its a bit of a pain but I suggest trying that as a temporary fix.

That's an idea Kain.

Still, somebody in this community (besides Mons) must be able to interpret STOP messages.... ... .. . confused-fix.gif

This should help finding out what is the cause, but has confused me so good luck!
