It is Now Night 1 NO POSTING.

Chapter 1: Night 1

In which a hidden cave is found.


It was a happy day in the lucky seer club. A new member was found, and she agreed to join. Ana was offered a chance to join after her amazing feat at the Portal of [incomprehensible], where she did something that few before her had, she managed to find all hostile force in only three days. Although reluctant at first to join such a club, she was convinced after talking with some of founding members, Petco among others.
After opening a portal to the hidden club house, Ana walked though to be greeted by im_lost and Nightstaker. Although the club was more or less limited to lucky seers for new members, friends of members where allowed in, to keep the size of the club somewhat large.
After introducing herself to the other members, Ana started to tell them her story, as most had not heard it yet.
The night went on.
Soon it was late.
“Well, I guess that is enough for today people.” Said Petco.
“Let’s turn in so that we can be rested for tomorrow. “
Everyone agreed, and they started to leave.
However, as they were leaving, they heard snapping sounds, followed by a large crash. Quickly they ran to the sound’s origin. They discovered that the wall had been changed into a large stone door, and it was open.
“I wonder where this came from, and what is inside.” Said Chocolate.
“Well, only one way to find out.” Responded EMP Demon, as he walk in.
Inside, they found a large stone table, on which was inscribed:

Hear ye, all who enter though this portal.
You have entered a cave of wonder and evil.
Inside, you will find treasures, and wonders of untold legends.
But to remain inside will cost you greatly.
Your life will change forever, for good or for bad.
This cave brings out the hidden powers in people.
At the cost of any powers they once had.
Enter, and you could come out with untold riches.
Or You could end up dead.
What do you choose?

“Well, what should we do?” asks im_lost.
“We are the lucky seer club, so we will go in.” responded Petco.
“I propose we do a quick mapping of the cave, and then we turn in for the night, so we can wake up fresh, and ready to explore the cave.” He continued.
“All in favor say aye.”
“Aye” everyone responded. After a quick mapping of the cave thanks in part to Ana and her powerful magic, they started to head off to bed, unaware that several of their number had now turned traitor, into Werewolves.
Soon, they would learn the horror they have unleashed on the world, by agreeing to go in.


Small change to the minigame.

You can move up 3 rooms, and search any one of those rooms, that you end the day in.

If there is more then one person who searches a room for an item, and there is an item in the room, then the person who move the least to get to the room will get it, and if there is more then 1 person who has most the least, then it will be randomly picked between them.

To move to a new room, make a post, do not PM it to me, and as such you can only move during the day.
At the end of the day, I will hand out items based on where you are, you are allowed to remove at anytime well it is still day, and you do not move outside of the 3 square limit. I will handle all moves at night with the shortest path.

Day 1: Post Away!

Host notes:
Although I said that nothing would happen on night 1, there is a slight change, if there is any psychic in the game, or psychic like roles, they will receive a pm with the wolf or mafia count, now, as they will need this info to know if day 1’s lynch did anything. Normally they would know this before hand, making this moot, but because the wolf’s count is 1/3 to 1/4, then only they can know, so I feel that as part of their power, they need to know.
I was also asked questions about the lovers.
For the tri lover plan: Even though A dies, cause B to die, C stays alive because C did not care for A, and as such, does not want to give the satisfaction of Dying with A to A.
If all lovers are alive at the end, they will all win, no matter what roles they might have had, so yes we could a wolf and mafia win. This will be declared as a win for whatever team the lovers are on, if the lovers are both not human. If one lover is human and the other is not, then a win for the non-human team, and a win for the human lover left. If both players are humans, then they will be treated as human. In the event that there is a non-human lover with a human lover, and the non-human one get’s lynched last, the human will win.
Hope that make sense.

And Now onto the story:

Chapter 2: Day 1
In which a dead body is found.

Ana was restless.
She had not been able to sleep, due to everything that had happened. First, she was invited to join a club that was very exclusive, and on the same day, they had found a hidden cave of magic. Petco had decided to have everyone stay at the club, rather then let them go home if they wished. The club had nice rooms for the members, but they lacked the homely feeling that Ana wanted.
So she was heading off to the kitchen to get a nice warm glass of milk, thinking it might help.
After all it always does in stories.
On the way she pasted Freak83’s room, and as she passed she hear a loud thump.
Wondering what it was, she knocked on the door softly.
*Knock Knock Knock*
No one answered.
That is odd, she though, she had been told that Freak83 was a very light sleeper and would be willing to answer any questions she had, all she had to do was knock on his door.
Worrying, she opened the door, to see a cloaked figure over what looked to be a very dead Freak83, at least she thought he was dead, she did not know many people who could live with their head on the other side of the room.
First, she was struck with silence.
Then she screamed loud.
Finally, she did was she knew best and started to cast chain lighting on the figure.
Halfway through the spell, the figure knocked her out.
“You were not to see that” it whispered to her unconscious form, before leaving by the door.
I only have a minute at most, before they show up, I need to change fast, and comeback here looking surprised. it though.
About a min later:
im_lost dashed into the room, fully armed with his sword, and staff, fearing for the worse.
Seeing Freak83’s dead body, he started to cast a powerful spell on whoever was in the room, until he saw that only Ana was there, and she was unconscious. Deciding that casting his spell on her ( there might be ashes left afterwards, might ), might be a bad idea, he went with a simple healing spell, after making sure that there was nothing he could do for freak. Magic can fix headlessness, but only if done within 3 or so minutes after it had fallen off, anything more, and even a great and powerful mage would be hard pressed to do anything.
Well he was casting the spell of healing, Aldaris showed up, slowly followed by everyone else.
“What happen here?” asked Petco.
“It looks like Freak83, and Ana were attacked.” Replyed Im_lost.
“I think that Freak83 was attacked first, and Ana here stumbled on to it.” He added after a little thought. “Let she what see says after I finish reviving her”.
Slowly Ana came too.
Her first thought that came to mind was Freak83’s dead body, and her attacker, so she continued her chain lighting, and cast it at the first thing that moved.
Luckily for everyone there, she ended up throwing it at the window, or to be more accurate, the tree that was moving in the wind outside the window.
Of course, because no one was expecting it, they all attacked the same thing that Ana did, namely the window.
After a few chain lightings, firaga balls, meteor shower attacks, and a few ulitma hits, everyone realized that they were attacking a window.
“I know the guy said that these windows would stop anything, but that is impressive.” Said Petco looking at the lack of any damage.
“So,” started Chocolate, “What happen Ana?” wanting to put his attacking of the window behind him fast, it was not good form for a mage to cast powerful spells on a piece of glass thinking it was an attacker.
“Well, it started like this,” began Ana. And she told her tale to everyone there.
“Well, this is not a good sign” said Petco.
“I think the cave we opened must have caused this, It warning said that it would change us, and it clearly has. We should go into it and try to seal off whatever caused that change, and hope that doing so will undo it.” Said Nightstalker.
“I think you are right.” Agreed im_lost.
“Well, it still late, so first thing in the morning let go do that” Finalized Petco.
“We should all go back to our rooms and lock the doors, the magic on them will stop anyone from entering, so we will be safe in them, I will see you all at the entrance to the cave, well we should call it the cave of doom, right after breakfast. I think Chocolate is still making it?” he added.
“Yes sir, and it will be waffles.” Replied Chocolate.
“You know that I hate waffles? Right Chocolate?” asked Im_lost.
“How can you hate waffles?” asked Ana.
“I just hate them, ok, I already was killed once over this, I don’t need it happening again.” im_lost replyed.
And with that they went off to their rooms.

However shortly afterwards, several people meet up to talk.
In a dark room somewhere.
“How could You kill him?” Asked figure A.
“I did not.” responded figure B.
“Then who did?” responded figure C.
“Maybe it was a werewolf?” suggested figure B.
“How would a werewolf get into the club, all the doors are warded against them, and every member is examed carefully to make sure they are human, that is the only reason we were able to get in after all.” Replyed Figure A, the Mafia Boss.
“Yea, your right, maybe it the cave?”
“I have no idea, but let talk about the real reason I called you here tonight.” figure A said.
“And that is?”
“Seeing how the first death has been cast by someone, or something thing, we need to make up or mind on where we are going to act now, or wait until later.”
“Why wait?”
“If we act now, they will know we have gotten into the club, and we can’t stop until we are all dead, and this ‘Werewolf’ That you think killed freak83 would be after us also.” Said figure A
“But this is the best time to act” said figure B “ We stick now, and we can reduce their numbers fast, and then we can kill all them during the day, after all werewolf only have power at night.” Said figure C.
“Well I will make up my mind during the day, don’t act with me telling you to do so” said figure A, “This might be our luckly break afterall.”
They left.

Shortly Afterward, Petco was about to drop Ana off in her new room, when they heard a loud howl. Startled they looked at each other.
“Was that a werewolf Howl?” asked Ana.
“I think so.” Replied Petco.
“Are you sure this room is safe?” asked Ana.
“They already have a kill tonight, you could sleep in the middle of the pack and be safe.” He responded.
Noticing her doubtful look, he continued.
“Werewolves need to feast on the flesh of the living, but they only need 1 person per cycle, although the cycle changes, it is never less then 1 per every day, Once they have their kill they will not take another, to make sure they can last as long as they can, it part of a self defense thing, more kills would draw more attention, so they only do 1 per night at most, expect in rare cases.” He told her.
“Oh.” She responded. “Well I guess that means good night then” she said as she entered her room.

Else were, under the full moon.

A lone wolf was howling.
He was calling his pack to him.
Soon, another wolf showed up.
“Your late” the first one said to the others.
“I was not easy to escape unnoticed, Ana was talking with Petco, and they where blocking the exit, that and they know that we werewolves are now in the club.” he answered.
“We should watch out for them then” the leader affirmed.
“Anyway, on to why I called you here, Freak83 was found dead by Ana, I want to know who did it.” He continued.
“It was not I” said the wolf.
“Then who? I know all the wolfs here, and now all of them all claiming to not have done it.”
“Maybe it was that mafia group that we think have managed to get into the club?” suggested the wolf.
“Doubtful” reply the leader, “They know that some of us were turned into werewolves, and would be afraid to act, because if they do, then they will be hunted down just like us.” He continued.
“I never knew why the people we faced before were so willing to embrace the wolf before, at least, until I became one of them.” He continued, off in his own little world. “This cave of doom, as the humans are calling it was one of the best things to happen to me, to us.”
“yes” replied the wolf.
“Humans don’t understand why we are what we are, even I did not understand why the werewolves we hunted so much were so happy to be a werewolves, and I am thought of as one of the greatest insights into the werewolves in the club.” He continued.
“So, if it was not us and not the mafia, who killed Freak83?” ask the leader.


Meanwhile in a room somewhere:

A club member was torn, he wanted to kill his fellow club members, but he knew it was wrong.
Why do I want to kill them he ask the room, he knew that this had happened before, when he was attacked by wolfs he wanted to kill everyone else so that he would be certain that all of the wolfs were dead.
“Why must this though torment me so”, he called out to the room.
“WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY”.


The next morning:


Everyone had gathered in what Ana’s map labeled Enter Room.
“Well, it looks like everyone is here, and it looks like everyone is tired, anger, or upset.” Started Aldaris “why is that?”
“Well some of us could not sleep out of fear of the werewolves” said Ana.
“But this is the lucky seer club, How would a werewolf get it? We make sure everyone is human before inviting them.” Asked Aldaris.
“Well” started petco, “The most reasonable thing is that this cave of doom, has transformed some of us into werewolves, which means that some of us are out to kill us.”
“That means, It time to go back to the old vote and lynch plan” said im_lost.
Everyone looked at each other.
“Because we were all here for when it opened, and no one else has joined us or left, that means that the werewolves are hiding among us.” Said Faskalia.
“So the only question is who do we not trust”…
“Lets search the caves, they might show us a way to reverse this, but from now one, one person will die every day, until we can prove that all the werewolves are dead.” Said Ana.
“But how will we know when they are all dead?” asked Nightstalker.
“If you look at the map, you will see something interesting on it, there is symbol of a moon, a knife, and a gun, each of those maps up to one of our problems. I added it after I head the wolf’s howl last night. Although it powerful, they will only disappear all at once, when all the problems are gone.” Said Ana.
Everyone agreed it was a good idea, after all, it would not be good to have wolfs in the lucky seer club.
And everyone had in the back of there mind, TRUST NO ONE.


Day 1 Will end on Wensday at 9 pm EST.

Sorry about this being late, I was thinking I had set it to end at 9 pm, and not 8 pm.

Good story so far. I don't understand why I have to be the person that doesn't like waffles though.

Well, Thansal has gotten me killed the last two games, so that's about as good as any reason I can have for placing a vote right now.

I'll move to Room 4 and search there.

I will say this now, I am written the story so that the mafia is there, but if they want to act, namely be in the game was decided by random.org People's roles in the story do not necessary match there roles in the game.

I know it's just the first day and theres not much to go on AND someone must die but Faskalia or Xentor are kinda suspicious for their votes on im_lost and EMP_Demon respectively. Just throwing up something for discussion. I might die for saying it but I've already mentioned this in the channel so it makes no difference either way.

Would you suspect Faskalia or Thansal for the votes on me? Faskalia was the first one to try to vote for me, even though he failed initially. He could have put his vote somewhere else when Thansal put his vote on me. Then again, Thansal could have seen that and decided not to return my vote; I would not have voted for him if he already had a vote. Anyway, it's all fairly interesting.

Xentor's vote on EMP Demon is fairly straightforward though.

tbh, my vote on you is just about random.

there is no real info day 1, and thus I am just voting on the fact that you are a bast'd that hates waffles.

Also, it makes EMP not the only one screwed currently.


If some one else ends up with 2 votes I will change my vote off of you (b/c you keep on getting shafted in these games, and often by me. So I feel sorta bad. Plus, what is the chance that you are a wolf 3 games running?)

Innitially I was going to vote on im_lost because of a reason I had before that I now forgot AND because I voted for him last game, but then reconsidered and just picked a random one. It turned out to be EMP, so bleh.

I'm easily going to change my vote if anything pops up (which did, I'm considering it now).....

I'm tired of that tactic. All it does is help the wolves. If everyone just votes for one person, the first day's voting is entirely random, and all the red teams have to do is play along. In that case, your vote is meaningless.

But, see, as soon as one person has more votes, things get a little stressful for that person and anyone allied with them. It's a small hope, but there's the chance some truth will come out as people try to save themselves and each other.

Granted, I'm sticking my neck out and will probably get wolfed/mafiaed/psychoed/whatever for saying this, but this is a small game with a lot of killing, so we need to make every day count.

So my vote was pseudo-random (What? 13 really is my lucky number. I was born on the 13th, though it was a Thursday, not a Friday), but I'd rather stir up some action than change it in favor of random.org.

Alright, I've decided to change my vote for the heck of it. As so, I change my vote to Nightstalker just because he was the first name I found without a vote. As I said, if anything comes up that's convincing I'm gonna change my vote.

So you guys are determined to make day one a random.org day? Well, if everyone else wants that, I can't do much about it, but I'll at least vote for a reason.

Thansal, mine goes on you for proposing this one-vote-each thing... It accomplishes nothing for us. The reds aren't going to move their votes at the last minute, because it'd be like painting a bullseye on their necks. With pure random chance, we're more likely to lose one than they are.

Hell, you might even be a psychopath, who would benefit most from this strategy, having possibly no allies and thus the lowest chance of losing a team member in a random vote.

Actualy, im_lost suggested the idea, I am going along b/c I didn't feel like screwing over people. I also posted it as im_lost couldn't help with the plan (already voting for some one with only 1 vote).

We need to come up with some better way of handeling it.

Normaly it is random.org or vote for the inactives.

Random.org ends up either with soem one randomly getting screwed, or some one suggests putting one vote on every one, and generaly some one refuses to go alogn with it, and that screwes some one.

Inactives this round would be Night, but we know he is around, just busy with RL stuff.

That happened a loooong time ago. I'm pretty sure someone has even been lynched because they voted for themself, and then failed to bold the name when they tried to moved their vote.

Last game almost ended with EMP casting the final vote for himself (still wish he had)
