Movement chambers give increased addren and allow for hive transportation. SCs give scent of fear and cloaking. But all D does is a small amount of regen that is not stackable any more. I believe this makes them an underpowered chamber. Either stacking should be put back in, regen rate increased, or perhaps they should provide a small armor/health bonus nearby.

Oh wow, no. A single DC already heals a hive 3% each tick, an additional 20% damage reduction would make it so much harder to take down.

Maybe decrease the time between each tick while simultaneously decreasing the health healed. Or decrease the % of health healed, and increase the base so that lower lifeforms get healed quicker.

A damage reduction just for lifeforms and not structures might work. It wouldn't even need to be 80%, 85 or 90 would still be enough to make it useful. Aliens could have something pop up on their screen when in range so they know. This might also make DC more viable as a first chamber on public games.

DCs are plenty viable as the first chamber. If people remember the early days of 3.2 final, DC first was just as often used as MC first, dunno why its quieted down. Aliens rocked those DC first games.

If we're keeping the debate to only the actual chamber's effects, then DC does not need to be changed at all. Each of the other chambers only needs ONE of them to be placed for pretty much the full effect. MCs give adren, and SCs cloak (the other effects are small in comparison).

Well, DCs heal. And they do a lot. Sure, skulks see only a slight boost in the DC heal over the previous one, with the 'nerf' that they cant have DCs stack now. Well, skulks wit 4 DCs in the previous version could heal with cara in like 4 seconds, while cara oni would take like 5 mins. Thats not balanced, plus it would take 40 res on the gorges part.

Now, all aliens have a proportional heal, with the lower lifeforms getting an extra boost (since the 10 base hp heal means a lot more to them).

But especially, *YOU ONLY NEED ONE TO GET THE FULL EFFECT*. A lot of people dont seem to comprehend this, and still put all the dcs in a pile under one hive. If the gorges instead put only one under the hive, and then the other two in vents near critical areas of the map, the team would have far far greater offensive capabilities.

DCs are fine, they're just underused and misused.
