Charge allows Onos to move any alien out of the way, even other Onoses.

Blink should allow Fades to move any alien out of the way also, possibly even Onos as well.

Even though NS is a team game, it's just silly that skulks and other small lifeforms can block the Fade and get the Fade killed and 50 resources gone.

Realistically, small lifeforms like Skulks shouldn't be able to block a Fade which is like 3-4x bigger than the Skulk.

Making Fade blink move aliens out of the way will solve the "The skulk got me killed" problem which happens occasionally and even frequently on big servers.

So with one hive aliens won't need leap, because they have a fade "kicking" all the skulks across the room into the marine crowd.
Sounds like fun, but it's exploitive.

Then rather make the fade blink through aliens and in the case that the fade stops blinking exactly in the alien auto excute an unstuck-like movement on it.

Although I'm not impressed with your reasoning, I agree with this change.

Hmh... I can't think of any real reasons for or against this change. I say no because its supposed to be challenging to work as a team.

it shouldnt, fade's blink supposed to be fast, onos's charge supposed to be strong, and fast. fade is a fast killing machine, and you need to be tricky if you are fadeing.

This might cause problems when in close proximity to other aliens.

examples:

1) What if the fade and a skulk or two were attacking a PG with carefully placed mines around it. Would the blink knockback knock these skulks into them?

2) Would this knockback only apply to aliens, and not effect marines? Is it possible to allow knockback to only effect one team?

3) If a fade needed to blink on top of a hive, would it knock off any gorges that were healing up there, or any eggs? Since the fade is more mobile than an onos, could this knockback be abused?

4) Fades would also win when traveling through vents if a smaller lifeform was going in their opposite direction. What if another fade was in the vent, would they just bounce against eachother indefinitely?

My suggestion considering knockback (and which will have a debate poster following up I guess):

Even if friendly fire is off, it is still "on" on alien side. It is called "blocking" biggrin-fix.gif as I said in another thread.

Having ff off should allow aliens to clip through each other (only player-through-player, structutures and wall surfaces must remain solid, duh nerd-fix.gif ) .

Not realistic as to the other suggestions posted, but oh well smile-fix.gif

It would maybe urge servers to put ff on ^-^.

As for the Fade knockback idea - as of "Get-out-of-my-fracking-way" move, I find it should only work depending an upgrade, like if a Fade were to have "celerity" or some "stamina/muscle" upgrade through one of those many suggested chamber upgrades.
