Hey, basically I want to know if theres any way to completely remove the client HUD, I mean 100% get rid of everything except for the weapon model/crosshair.

sv_cheats or dev1 isn't a problem as I'll be using it to record footage from HLTV demos for a movie project - I'm also planning to be recording in a widescreen resolution with "default_fov 100/110" if that conflicts with anything.

All help appreciated, thanks in advance.

i think thats not possible without changing some of the sprites of the hud with empty ones.

so you could just replace all sprites with empty ones and you have your free screen

Everything is viable for this, I mean I have no issue with hacking up my NS install (I'm using a second install on another steam account for this) but I'd raelly rather get a concrete answer with "You need to do X" before I start messing with it.

You can get rid of everything except for the tiny line that divides ammo from reserve ammo.

Takes a lot of editing, though. Replace relevant sprites (inc minimap sprites) with copies of the provided "blank.spr" (IIRC). Might also have to remove hud.txt.

Yeah the ammo separator line only shows up in POV (client recorded) demos, with HLTV demos you don't get the ammo counters .

Sorted, I used the photographers toolkit2, but had to replace the muzzleflash, weapon models and make a blank sprite file for "hivehealth.spr". Thanks for your help folks.
