Hi! Ive just installed ns again after a long break. And now it seems that i have a problem. When i run a listen server to play with my friends against bots (whichbot), it can just randomly freeze without any reason at all and i have to press ctrl + alt + del to get out of it. This is really annoying cuz we play ns_ maps and got some big bases sometimes. And oh, one more thing... the extralevels plugin is kinda impossible to get? :O... ive been serching for it for a time now and the modns.org site seems to be down? Maybe i should say that i run amx and metamod on my server.

Hokay, you've said that you're running the WhichBot for NS, but you've not said if it happens in normal, vanilla listen server mode, or in dedicated server mode.
Also, does this same problem occur when playing online at all?
Obviously, do the normal things like, virus checks and spyware sweeps as well...

Sounds like a problem with your whichbot install to me.

Agreed, remove the WhichBot pack, and try it again. See if the problem stays or goes

how could the bots make the game crash? :S

The downloaded files could be corrupted, they could have been stored on a damaged area of the hard drive, the sector of memory that the bots are loaded in could be corrupted (but you'd notice random crashes if that last one was the case).
Either way, it would appear most clearly that the WhichBot installation is at fault here, remove and source another kind of bot, if you really need to.

More likely you didn't set it up properly. If I recall correctly, you have to modify some lines in a file called liblist. If you don't do that properly, the game hangs.

Errors in liblist.gam mean that the server will just not load.
He also said he uses amx, it could be some superfluous plugins. I would advise scrapping amx first before whichbot. If it looks stable after that and you want amx back I would suggest trying a bare-bone install of amx (or more likely, amxmodx) before you add any form of custom plugins.
