Can someone please tell me the name of the sprite used seen here while shooting a wall, its the blackish ones.

They're not sprites, they're internal engine particles that have carried over from Quake 1. There's no way to change them.

yeah its all engine. i dont think even plugins can change that :o but hth did you get 131 fps?

developer 1. I regularly get 250-300 fps. As Talesin pointed out in some other thread though, the engine only renders up to 100.

playing in software =\ ns doesn't even let u play in software but u can still see sprites when u do.

Might be DirectX, I remember playing in DX once and had no sprites and looked really poor. Can't remember why I even bothered playing like that..

I use opengl its just gl_texturemode "GL_NEAREST_MIPMAP_NEAREST" for better fps.

ITs very easy to change them
Open the
decals.wadwith wally and change the neccesary files
the bulletholes are textures with an alpha channel so change them and voila
there you go new bulletholes
