I kindly asked FOR NO UNAUTHORISED MIRRORS.
So please remove that.
In other news - why do the fade hands make you a bad fade? They're virtually identical to the existing Fade weapons, so why the problem? Its its aiming, try using the (already existing but usually turned off) crosshairs for the claws. I had to relearn how to use Devour because it affected my Onos aim, but other than that I have no problems.
Dodgy hitboxes....... which models, and by how much? I can probably scale them to fit.
l0tus - try opening photoshop and turning up the brightness and contrast. The nearer the colour is to white, the more opaque it is. I haven't had a chance to try the wings ingame so I wouldn't know how much of a change is needed, but I would say tinker with the bmp and then view the result in HLMV.

the hitboxes aren't off by much, and since there is no locational damage (i.e. headshots) in NS...

I didn't think they were off by a huge amount myself, but 2 people have commented on them so far.
I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, so I don't think its bad aim... but at the same time I have to say the skulk never really fitted its hitbox either.

i take back what i said about the wings; after using that lerk for a few days now, i think its perfect.

yeah the hitbox issue is probably minor, but when i aim i
put the whole alien in my xhairs so if the model is a lil big ill miss.... probably also related to the fact that i
cant aim.

edit: i also cant spell either :<

In all honesty I just aim for the centre and usually all goes well. I know there's an issue with the head being a bit too far forward, but the normal skulk head is too far forward too.
I'll try and fix it but tbh I'm a bit wary because if they all fit the hitbox properly then it might affect gameplay..

seriously this pw thing is annoying can i ask why its used?
i cant access the readme file because it requests the pw, help me i want those skins
l0tus

wrong. the readme isn't encrypted, and can be accessed without the password. i know this because the password is IN the readme. if you just take the time to read it, the password is painfully obvious.

calm down and pay attention: there's a filed called NecrosisReadme.txt in the .rar file. READ THAT FILE to find the password. as for this being stupid: considering the time and effort that went into creating that pack, if you don't have the patience to read a short text file in order to get the password, you don't deserve it.

You have to read it because the small print says DONT STEAL MY FRACKING FILES YOU NOOBS.
Sadly people seem to keep missing this bit, so now I have to chase down ANOTHER website...

Once again. If you not going to help, please dong reply. Simple as that. I dont care if you want to boost the number of post by just posting "rofl" in a reply.
Now I dont need your help anymore either. I found the password by searching the web.

lol are you serious? if you did manage to find it on the internet, which i doubt, that probably took you about 3 times as long as it would've had you just read the readme. you people...lol.

I'd be interested to learn how the internet had the password.
Purely because I consider myself to be the best darned googler in the world, and I can't find the password on the net.

HAHAHA awesome. Took me a couple read-throughs to find the pass, not as blatantly obvious as you might think

I don't understand why you locked the files in the first place.
Edit - Nvm, I see why now

Bingo. The explanation follows shortly after the password, hehe.

I'm of above average intelligence, I've tried opening the NecrosisReadMe.txt without a password. I googled, I found that I need to download maybe a different extractor?
Can someone just e-mail me the file or the password at artoah@hotmail.co.uk.
If I don't get an e-mail, fine. If I do, I'll activate the models server-wide :).
Thanks.

a) You just bumped a thread that was nearly five years dead. That's a big no-no. In the future, please start a new topic and link to the old topic.
b) I was able to download the file, and despite having never seen it before, I was able to extract the NecrosisReadme.txt file without needing a password, find the password for the rest of the archive (contained within the readme file), and extract the rest of the archive using that password. I used 7-zip (http://www.7-zip.org/) to extract the files. The password is easy to find in the readme, it's the part that looks out of place, near the end.

Falcon, you could also try contacting me directly, you know.
The Readmes are not password protected, not on any version I've released. They work with WinRAR and WinZip, and Snappy verifies they work with 7-Zip.
You do only need to read one in order to get the password, the reason for that (as explained earlier in this thread) is apparent once you read the relevant section.
Also, I'd rather you didn't "activate the models server-wide". They're not for distribution without permission, a fact made clear in the readme.
