Yeah, uh I want to advertise a modeling/skinning forum, all around, ns, cs (not that i like it, but cs skinners and modelers are "elite"), dod, the specialists and everything you could imagine, and I just wanted to let you know that such a place exists, its at ww.cmclub.tk and the forums are a little buggy right now (i need some help, im not pretty fond with php) so drop by and register if you find it interesting.

As much I hate to admit it, CS Modelers/Skinners/Animators pwn NS Modelers/Skinners/Animators. All NS modelers worship Shrike. All NS Skinners worship SixShooter and Lonewolf. All NS animators worship Strykerwolf. Cause they totally pwnz us. *sob* Cuz they have the L337 modeling/skinning/animating ability... And all Player modelers...worship Djiese and Spastic Child... Sigh...I wish someday there can be a Shrike/SixShooter/Strykerwolf made replacement with custom sounds for the LMG...than that'd be heaven...

don't hate it, just respect and luff it! ns started not too long ago, compared with cs, so it should be more "elite". (note: i am proud member of the cs community and ns community...and the fa community)

Firearms...I don't like firearms. It's easy to distinguish blue from red but not easy ENOUGH. Come on, they look just like eachother. And you can hardly tell who is who on a dark map. Counter-Strike, I used to play all the time until I got NS. Now I only play NS and all my CS skillz have faded away... Still, maybe if we bribed Shrike/SixShooter with $50 to do a custom model/skin...

if he's inspired by the futuristic feeling of NS (and atmosphere) he'll come on his own.

one reason why CS models skool the Ns ones, is well, CS doesn't have that many possabilities...

would you ever find a cow in CS?
how about a cockroach, or chicken, and what about a grenade launcher...

CS has player models, and weapon models, that is ALL... while NS has 2 completely different races, buildings and weapons...





one is a little more copmlex than the other

cs_italy has chickens in the market, and there is a chickenmod for it too. cs is great, but the atmosphere and need for teamwork in ns beats it out.

h8 to break this to ya m8 but although there are some very talented people making stuff for cs, i personally am not impressed with the majority of game content they produce. there are some excellent skins by people liike wannabe and six and plenty of accurate models but 99% of the players produced for cs are pure arse. i respect idividual talent but not a mods fanbase talent as a whole. thats too general.

I didn't want this to become a flaming thread, I just wanted to advertise my forum, it should be working fine now, except you keep getting logged out when you leave the forum, I'll fix that in a sec, I've already posted a DoD model, I'm working on an NS handgun conversion right now...

if you didnt want it to happen, then dont post, your post was obviously full of dissatisfaction for the ns community.

Chicken is a default skin, you can see chickens in the Chickenmod and in Cs_italy, and in various custom maps as nonplayable characters.

Cockroach, I believe that would be easy to make. But does Natural-Selection have a Lobstar skin?

I don't like CS very much, but it's a fact that there is tons of more models for CS out there, than what there are for NS. Therefore, there are many very great models out there too. CS has some very talented modellers, skinners and hackjobbers (Spastic Child!).

BTW, I use Spastic child's sound pack in NS. It has great painsounds.

Like, when you hit a 'rine with parasite, it says "God damn, that hurt a little bit but now I'm all right!"

When you bitekill someone : "I'm freaking dying out here, I freaking die!"

etc. I have also sounds for onos and fade kills and so on . Ofcourse, falling sounds etc. are also replaced. It's quite cool actually.
