Ok, i just started skinning and i'm using half life model viewer to export skins off models, and to import them back in. Is that right? Another question, i reskinned (read as "recolored") all my player models but i can't find the black marine. There's the heavy armor, and the white guy, where's the second light armored marine model at?

yah ive been wondering about that for awhile myself, someone who knows the answer, post!! confused.gif

in hlmv go to texture spot where you exported texture. in the left hand column you will find a drop down menu with all the available skins for that model..you will also find the jetpack here as well

The black and the white marines are the same model, they've just two different skins. You can scoll down in the HLModelViewer somewhere to find them...

And if you go to the "Body" tab in HLMV, you'll see a place where you can switch between skins in your view, and the "submodel" bit, which shows the jetpack.

(Of course, this is probably completely obvious, but it's something I only discovered when I started playing with NS skins.)
