I'm not sure where you install the onos model in,i put in in alien 5 file but nothing happen

You need to overwrite the current alien5 file that is in your NS folder with this one.

has anyone test out the onos and skulk,i install but just dont see the models.I know bad server shows the onos as a plug in.The gorge works fine

you need to rename them to the appropriate alienX ;D

We also have a plugin to force custom models to players on the server. You can use the models yourself if you put them in your local NS folder.

Yes, you have to rename the files to the appropriate alien1,2,3,4 or 5
The reason the gorge works is because it was named alien2 already.

After a little bit of FTP trouble I finally got around to mirroring both the Onos and the Skulk on my website. Download 'em there instead of the atrocity that is FileFront!

Is everyone using these models server wise? If so are you experiencing any problems with the models not showing correctly? For instance sometimes the Onos appears as a floating skulk. We have even seen a leaping Onos that was actually a skulk! Also when using the gorge model in combat, the gorge hook plugin doesn't work. We are trying to figure out if it's the models or the plugin we use to force it on the server.

Just to point out some of the players' experience with the models, they were very excited and liked them at first. Being new and everything that is to be expected. Now we are getting complaints that they are to hard to see being so gray and they blend in with the walls.

Just giving some feedback. :)

Most likely a plugin problem.. I've got around to playing with them on able NS (installed on my client) and have had no such problems. I can also see them easier than the orange versions.. maybe that's just me.

I hate how this customization forum is dead. This forum got me started on Modelling, and after I get out of the Marine Corps I'm going to school for it. Thank you NS for influencing my life. hahaha
